About

Hello, I’m Alexa!

A lover of radiant self-expression and sensitivity to the world as we interact with it, I value the life-long practice and cultivation of loving-kindness, compassion, understanding, empathy, patience, vulnerability, authenticity, and attuned presence to ourselves and others! As an artist with a passion for versatile, raw story-telling, I incorporate these elements into every character I encounter — seeking to thoroughly understand and encapsulate characters through empathic compassion, the fearless vulnerability of human expression, detailed observation, and an acceptance of the present moment. My joy and love for acting stems from the desire to embrace and explore the depth of the full spectrum of the human experience while handling the stories of others (both fictional and non-fictional) with tenderness, gratitude, and care! Through my journey and work as an actress, I hope to inspire and uplift others, highlighting the importance of humanity, honesty, and connection with everything in our lives. Through acting, I believe we are able to understand ourselves and others more, leading to more acceptance, healing, love, and benevolence.

As a child, I was always enamored with all different sorts of stories, and the pure joy imaginative expression brought me — seeing just how creative I can get with it! Whether it was putting on shows for my family with stuffed animals, re-enacting a scene from a film that spoke to my childhood self, or unabashedly singing and dancing any chance I got — I was happy. I started acting at the age of 6 when I had the joy of performing my first role on-stage, Snow White, through a school play. I then discovered musical theater, doing local shows at my community theater in Venice, Florida. I expanded my acting through film acting and began studying in Los Angeles, California with John Kirby and Michelle Danner. Recently, I graduated in 2022 with an MFA, Acting degree from the Actors Studio Drama School in NYC where I have remained ever since.

In my free time, I enjoy the little joys life has to offer such as immersing myself in as much eclectic music as I can, diving head-first into the ocean (when I’m not in NYC, that is), meditating, going to art museums, admiring all nature has to offer (like noticing how adorable bees look after throwing themselves into a flower to pollinate), sketching, reading, a really good coffee (paired with an equally on par croissant), singing any chance I can, learning anything new, spending time with my beloved family and friends, and fully observing and embracing the world as it is around me.

Thank you so much!
